Philip J. Connealy, 74, Leawood, died Feb. 12, 1994 at St. Joseph Health Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cure of Ars Church; entombment in Mount Olivet Cemetery mausoleum, Raytown. Friends may call from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today at the Muehlebach Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. The family request no flowers and suggests contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association. Mr. Connealy was born in Decatur, Neb. and moved to this area 44 years ago. He was a partner in the Grant Thorton accounting firm, retiring in 1982. He graduated from Regis College, Denver. He was a member of the Rockhurst College Honorary Directors and a former member of the Indian Hills Country Club. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Marcella Malloy Connealy of the home; five sons, Daniel P. Connealy, Seattle, Kevin J. Connealy, Leawood, John M. Connealy, Terence P. Connealy and Timothy M. Connealy all of Kansas City; a daughter, Cathleen A. Connealy, Kansas City; a brother, Emmett P. Connealy, Decatur; a sister, Mary Ellen Tobin, Tekamah, Neb,; and 14 grandchildren.
