Leo A. Schlotman
1916-2003


A Washougal resident since 1945, Leo A. Schlotman died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Washougal. He was 87.


Survivors include his wife, Clara A., at home; one son, Larry of Ocean Park, Wash.; one sister, Mabel Moller of Walthill, Neb.; two brothers, Clarence of Pasco, Wash., and John of Independence, Mo.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  Mr. Schlotman was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Benchland, Mont. A daughter, Linda Straney, died in 2003. 

He worked in the dye department at the Pendleton Woolen Mill in Washougal. He was a member of the Washougal United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4278. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports.


A service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
