Claire McKenzie Blastic, Deceased May 21, 2014
( the youngest daughter of former Decatur Superintendent, Don McKenzie, and his wife, Phyllis)
Claire, passed away on May 21, 2014. She was ravaged by cancer. Claire was born while we were in Decatur. She was bright, kind, compassionate and loving. She leaves a huge void in our lives.
She lived in Ocoee, and leaves a husband, David Blastic, and two sons, Clayton, 23, and Cameron, 18. Luckily both her older sisters, Leslie and Beth, were present. She suffered greatly and really had no chance for recovery. She desperately wanted to make it to May 30th when her youngest son will graduate from high school, but she just could not make it. Think you best and kindest thoughts for her.
